Overview: OncoNet is a collaborative network of 19 leading cancer research institutions around the world funded by Merck Research Laboratories. OncoNet was established to accelerate pre-clinical and clinical development of Merck's investigational anti-cancer medicines in an efficient manner by facilitating the exchange of information, removing administrative barriers to collaboration at a global level, and prioritizing among compounds and clinical trials based on evolving data. This approach will lead to more informed, data-driven, and rapid decision making regarding the efficacy and safety profile of compounds and the utility of biomarkers developed by Merck or its collaborators.
