Overview: DART is a virtual company made up of a number of seasoned industry executives with experience at operating management and deal making for early stage development. In partnership with Charley's Fund, a patient association focused on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, the goal is to create operating and deal making capability to move promising molecules from animal data to a point where VC financing or biotech partnering is possible. Charley's Fund will fund preclinical work that identifies promising agents and will initially fund DART. DART will pick up operational responsibility for early stage development and structure deals that allow for appropriate funding.
