Overview: The Nicholas Conor Institute (TNCI) operates a joint innovation alliance business model called The Accelerator of Cancer Treatments in Children (TACTiC™). TACTiC™ comprises a consortium of partner enterprises, each possessing highly skilled personnel, infrastructure, facilities, and vital knowledge in genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, molecular diagnostics, and drug/therapeutic discoveries that are designed for stratified populations and individualized therapies, per child. TACTiC™ is funded by "hybrid venture philanthropy" for the express purpose of rapidly bringing pediatric cancer diagnostics and cures to the market. TACTiC™ and its hybrid venture philanthropy funds model are relevant and scalable to all disease and research categories.
