Overview: Clinical Trial Comparator Arm Partnership (CTCAP) is a transformative partnership between two synergistic nonprofits and many of the world's largest healthcare organizations that aims to pool and analyze large clinical and molecular datasets from the placebo and comparator arms of clinical trials. The "pre-competitive" results will be available to academic and commercial researchers to create computational models that more accurately define the molecular basis of disease and can guide the development of effective therapeutics and diagnostics. The release and reuse of data previously considered exclusive and proprietary is an important evolution of how pharmaceutical and academic researchers can better manage research and accelerate translation.
