Regulation needs to be in lock-step with innovation to deliver the benefits of biomedical advances to patients. This requires a scientifically strong and well-resourced FDA. This session will define the role of the FDA in translating the latest scientific breakthroughs into safe and effective medical solutions. Discussion will focus on paving the path to ensuring that the agency has the human, financial, and partnership capital it needs to deliver its mission.
