Participants

This meeting brought together a unique audience of philanthropists, medical research foundations, and biopharmaceutical companies with the goal of forging cross-sector collaborations needed for a more efficient and effective therapeutic research and development process. Partnering for Cures was structured to combine the outcomes-oriented approach of investor conferences, the business development opportunities at biopharmaceutical industry "partnering" meetings, and the knowledge sharing that drives patient advocacy events.

Who Participated:

  • Philanthropists, asset managers of foundations or family offices, as well as philanthropy advisors or service providers to clients wanting to make informed investment decisions and objectively assess the return on their philanthropy

  • Medical research foundations that are strategic and innovative in their allocation of resources to achieve both research and therapeutic development objectives.

  • Biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies interested in new collaboration models that will lead to needed therapeutic development.

  • Investors in biopharmaceutical companies that understand the potential of these collaborations.

“We share in your goal to turn exciting new medical discoveries into therapies that can treat and cure patients. But, as you know, no one can do this work alone. Expediting cures requires collaboration.”
