Medical Research Innovators and Investors Convene at Partnering for Cures in New York to Focus on Collaborative Solutions

WASHINGTON - Hundreds of leaders from all sectors in medical research will gather at the 3rd annual Partnering for Cures meeting to focus on developing and amplifying collaborative solutions needed to accelerate medical progress. This outcomes-driven meeting will be held November 7-8, 2011 at the Grand Hyatt New York.

Developing a viable medical solution could take an average of 15 years, $1.3 Billion, and a long list of innovative approaches to increase the odds of successfully moving therapies from the laboratory bench to the patient's bedside. For two days, medical research and development decision-makers, innovators, and investors will come together to find nontraditional partners, explore collaborative approaches, and create new business models vital to speeding up the time it takes to get important new medicines from discover to patients.

It features 16 panels focused on addressing some of medical research's top concerns in concrete ways; 30 case studies featuring creative, outcomes-driven real-world collaborations; and a customized partnering system designed to connect diverse leaders with shared goals.
