The future is unpredictable for the 2 billion people around the world with brain disease. There are no cures, very few effective treatments, and we do not know with any precision what causes most major brain disorders. To move forward, we need to rethink how we study brain disease, how we define it, how we identify new targets, and how we advance precision medicine approaches. We need to do science at scale and embrace the complexity of disease. Orion Bionetwork's mission is to accelerate discovery of next-generation diagnostics, treatments, and cures for brain disorders by harnessing the power of high-performance computing to build predictive models from integrated high-dimensional biomarker, biosensor, and phenotypic data. We are championing a systems biology approach and a new Cooperative Alliance Model to #HackBrainDisease not within a generation but within a decade. We can predict the future. And the future is now.
