Amy Docker Marcus

Amy Docker Marcus is a Reporter for The Wall Street Journal, where she writes frequently about rare diseases, patient-driven drug development and patient advocacy. Her work has won many awards, including the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Beat Reporting for a series of stories she wrote about the emotional, physical and financial challenges faced by cancer survivors. She received a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Investigator Award in Health Policy Research for a project focused on improving the cancer care experience for rare cancer survivors. Marcus received a bachelor's degree from Harvard University.
