Senior Vice President, Advocacy & Policy, JDRF
Cynthia Rice is Senior Vice President for Advocacy and Policy for JDRF, a patient organization with a mission to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat type 1 diabetes and its complications. She is responsible for JDRF's advocacy to Congress, the executive branch, regulatory agencies and health plans. Before joining JDRF in 2005, she held senior positions in both the government and nonprofit sectors, including policy roles in both the White House and the U.S. Senate. Rice has a master's degree in public policy from the University of California at Berkeley and a bachelor's degree from Harvard University.
