Senior Scientist, Shire; Founder and Board Member, Future of Research
Dr. Kristin Krukenberg obtained her PhD from the University of California, San Francisco, where she studied the structure of the chaperone protein Hsp90. After graduating from UCSF, she moved to the Department of Systems Biology at Harvard Medical School where she investigated the biochemical and cellular regulation of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase 1. While at HMS, Krukenberg was president of the Postdoctoral Association and co-founded Future of Research. She currently serves on the board of Future of Research. Krukenberg is a Senior Scientist at Shire where she is a group lead overseeing the analytical strategy for enzyme and protein replacement therapies.
