Presentation- Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory: Heart Modeling

Predictive multi-physics modeling and simulation of the whole human heart on the world's highest performance supercomputer promises to accelerate new discoveries and innovation in cardiology, cardiovascular disease, pharmacology, and patient-specific therapies. The presenters will discuss results of ongoing collaboration with IBM Research into cardiac dysfunction and anti-arrhythmia drug effects with cellular level visibility, along with other transformative partnering opportunities for biotech and pharmaceutical companies that offer proprietary, on-demand access to computational expertise and highly scalable codes running on high-performance computers.
