With the proliferation of large, cross-sector collaborations in medical research has come a need to better understand – and more systematically assess – the structure and impact of these partnerships. Using opportunities surrounding the Precision Medicine Initiative, and FasterCures' own consortia research, as a backdrop, this session will examine the characteristics of a successful biomedical R&D partnership, the tools and techniques that can be used to maximize effectiveness, and the processes by which partners and their contributions are identified.
