As senior vice president at Avalere, Josh Seidman advises clients on health delivery and payment innovation with a focus on using information technology to guide value-based care models. Prior to joining Avalere, he was a managing director at Evolent Health, director of meaningful use at the Department of Health and Human Services in the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, and founding president of the Center for Information Therapy and director of measure development at the National Center for Quality Assurance. Seidman currently serves as president of the Society for Participatory Medicine and is a William B. Ziff Fellow for patient engagement with the Center for Advancing Health. He holds a Ph.D., M.H.S., and B.A. from Brown University.
