Melissa Painter is the executive producer at 5D @ Wondros, a design studio focused on world building, where she works with clients such as Nike, Intel, Boeing, and the Royal Shakespeare Company, helping them think about the intersections of their industries and emergent technologies. She is an award-winning filmmaker who has directed three features: Wildflowers, Admissions, and Steal Me. Her films have premiered at Sundance, The New York Film Festival, Seattle, SXSW, Cannes, and Telluride. She holds a B.A. from Columbia University and an M.F.A. from the New York University Tisch School of the Arts. She is co-author of the book "Edie: Girl on Fire." Previously, Painter worked at Wondros in content strategy and as a co-director of short form documentaries.
